Import Errors and How to Fix Them

If your CSV import fails, it’s usually due to formatting.

1. Incorrect column headers

Use simple headers like:

• Name
• Email
• Phone
• Company
• Notes
• Tags

2. Special characters

Characters like #, |, or & can break imports.

3. Wrong file type

Make sure the file ends in .csv, not .xlsx or .numbers.

4. Empty rows

Blank rows can cause errors.

5. Encoding issues

Save your file as UTF‑8.
